This week’s tip comes from an email conversation I had with a client about something I think we all need to take time to do… RELAX! My client said that she was spending her day off wrapped up in a blanket, curled up by the fire, in a comfy chair, sipping a yummy drink and reading my eBook. (My eBook isn’t required reading, but it is lot’s of fun.)
What I love is that she set aside time to relax in a way that was beneficial to her. In fact, it seemed like such a good idea that I did so as well! My yummy drink of choice: a homemade chi tea latte. Below is my personal recipe.
What you’ll need:
- Your favorite brand of chi tea
- About a cup of milk
- Almond syrup
- 2 1/2 tsp of sugar
- Electric frother
- A REALLY big cup!
Step 1: Brew your tea with about a cup of water. (I let mine steep for at least 5 minutes.)
Step 2: Warm/steam your milk. (One minute in the microwave works well.)
Step 3: Add your syrup to the milk and froth with a milk frother. (Usually your milk will double in volume.)
Step 4: Add your sugar to your tea.
Step 5: Pour your sweetened chi tea into the frothed milk.
